• Minimum score of 5 points

Mini completion time is used as a tiebreaker when total scores are equal

• 1 try = 25 points

• 2 tries = 24 points

• 3 tries = 23 points

• 4 tries = 20 points

• 5 tries = 15 points

• 6 tries = 10 points

• X (failed) = 0 points

Strands (25 points)

• Up to 18 points based on percentage of words found

• Up to 7 points for early Spangram completion

• -2 points per hint used

Connections (25 points)

• Base points for attempts left:

4 attempts = 15 points

3 attempts = 12 points

2 attempts = 9 points

1 attempt = 6 points

• Only 50% of attempt points if no groups solved

• Additional points based on group difficulty:

Purple = 4 points

Blue = 3 points

Green = 2 points

Yellow = 1 point

• Bonus multiplier for solving harder groups early

• Maximum 25 points only with perfect play

(Perfect = 4 attempts left, Purple→Blue→Green→Yellow)
